Cabin rentals In Muskingum County Ohio

Cabin retreats provide guests with an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors without some of the worries that accompany tent camping, like inclement weather and unwelcome wildlife. In Muskingum County and the surrounding areas, individuals interested in finding a rental cabin have several options available. Not only do these cabins provide easy access to the surrounding wilderness areas, but they also provide amenities that add comfort and convenience to the outdoor experience.


Wolfie's Campground


Wolfie's Campground in Zanesville has three cabins available for daily, weekly or monthly rentals from mid-March to mid-December. Each cabin includes heat and air conditioning, a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The smallest cabin includes two bunk beds, satellite television, and an outdoor picnic and grilling area. The mid-size cabin comes with two bunk beds that have full-sized beds on the bottom bunk and an outdoor picnic area. The largest cabin, located in a more secluded area, provides guests with three bunk beds with full-sized bottom beds and an outdoor picnic and fire ring area.


The campground features an on-site general store, free wireless Internet, RV and tent sites, a swimming pool, laundry and bathroom facilities, a game room, outdoor movie theater and a playground.

The Cabins at Exit Inn


In Frazeysburg, at The Cabins at Exit Inn, campers will find four cabins available to rent year-round. The cabins are located on 72 acres of land and because of the size of the property, each cabin is situated to provide guests with a feeling of privacy. Cabin amenities include screened-in porches, hot tubs and observation decks. Every cabin has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, gas fireplaces, satellite televisions and gas grills.


The Exit Inn property also includes a gift shop that sells food and personal items as well as paintings, candles and other locally made craft items.

Blue Rock State Park


In addition to numerous tent camping spots, the Blue Rock State Park offers three camper cabins that are available to rent year-round. These cabins include camp stoves, lanterns and coolers. Each cabin sleeps up to four people and comes with a combination of bunk beds and cots. The cabins are within walking distance of Cutler Lake, which provides a boat launch ramp.


Guests staying at the Blue Rock campground will find several other amenities on the property including shower and bathroom facilities, an amphitheater, hiking trails, a gift shop, picnic areas, a playground and volleyball courts.

Timberline Cabins


Just 12 miles east of Muskingum County are the Timberline Cabins in Cambridge, Ohio. Timberline's seven cabins are located in the Salt Fork State Park and range in size from two to three bedrooms.


The cabins located at the Timbers are two stories and have fully equipped kitchens, two bedrooms, one bathroom, hot tubs, fireplaces, decks and satellite television.


The Hillside Cottages are all ranch-style houses with two bedrooms, fireplaces, full kitchens, one bathroom, outdoor grill and picnic areas, living rooms and satellite television. The largest cabin, the Birmingham, has three bedrooms, a hot tub, gazebo, private fire pit and satellite television.
