Supplies for house
Butterflies are attracted to bright colors, so painting with primary colors works well. It is a simple project that can be accomplished by anyone and takes very little time. With a sponge brush and an angular brush, some acrylic paint and spray finish, you will attract those winged beauties.
Instructions
1. Thin the white paint with water and brush the mixture onto the butterfly house using the sponge brush. Let it dry and apply a second coat of mixture. The roof is red, the base is blue.
2. Apply red flowers with the angular brush standing on its edge, pull the color toward the center. Blue flowers are connected circle shapes. Tap centers with yellow using wood end of brush handle. Dotted flowers are made with the wood brush handle tip dipped in orange and yellow.
3. Add grass at the bottom of the house with water thinned green paint .Pull the brush across the bottom edge of the house and upward with chisel edge. Make stems using the chisel edge of the brush. Pull color downward. Make leaves by laying the brush edge on the surface and pulling it away from the stem on an angle.
4. Le the paint dry and spray the house with one coat of matte spray varnish.
5. Let the varnish dry and use the black pen to draw squiggly lines around flowers and leaves. Add broken lines for roof shingles. Spray with two more coats of varnish.
