Fresh paint A Store Floor

Touch up missed surface areas with a paintbrush.

You can paint almost any flooring surface, including concrete, wood, vinyl tile, ceramic or vinyl tile. Before you begin painting your shop floor, clean the surface from any debris, and make it dust-free and dry. A smooth floor is ideal, but any condition of surface is fine as long as it doesn't have major cracks or holes.

Instructions

1. Fill a bucket with warm to hot water, and then use the wet mop to scrub the floor surface thoroughly.

2. Allow the surface to dry completely. Use a floor fan to speed up the process.

3. Use the broom and dust pan to sweep up debris and dust.

4. Apply tape to the floor boards or base of the wall to prevent accidental paint transfer.

5. Mix and pour the paint into the tray.

6. Dip the paint roller into the tray, and then roll the paint across the floor surface.

7. Roll the paint onto the floor in small sections, between 3 to 6 feet in length.

8. Use a paintbrush to touch up areas you may have missed. Do this once you have applied the first coat.

9. Allow the paint time to dry. Use a floor fan to speed up the drying process.

10. Apply a second coat of paint using the paint roller. Let the paint dry, and then remove protective tape when finished.
