Market Your Housekeeping Business

You may increase sales for your home cleaning business by using several promotional methods to grow the local brand recognition of your company. As a new or established business, your company can attract additional cleaning jobs by using a variety of marketing ideas to promote your services. A small business owner who promotes services such as whole house cleaning, window cleaning or floor cleaning, that is performed by experienced, licensed and bonded professionals, could rapidly improve its customer base.


Instructions


1. Use flyers to promote your cleaning business. Mail flyers to homeowners in markets areas served by your business. Post flyers in coffee shops and on community bulletin boards.


2. Hire a web services provider to design and promote your house cleaning business. Create web pages that feature services provided by your business. List information about your company, hours of operation, service areas and provide a few before-and-after photos of your completed work.


3. Distribute business cards each day. Set a goal to give at least three or four of your business cards to prospective customers each day. Hand your business cards to merchants where you shop. Ask service providers who you support, such as dry cleaners, auto repair shops, florists and your accountant to mention your house cleaning business to others.


4. Order branded apparel, such as t-shirts, jackets and hats that reflect the name of your house cleaning business. Ask your employees to wear items that display your company's name and logo.


5. Give promotional materials to satisfied customers. Ask your customers to tell others about your house cleaning business. Offer a discount on future services for customers who send referrals to your business.
