Choose Fresh paint For Sleeping rooms

Colors have an astounding impact on our moods, making it very important to choose the right color to paint a bedroom. Here are some steps to take to choose a bedroom paint color that will satisfy your inner interior decorator.

Instructions

1. Choose a color that calms you.

The bedroom should be a place in the house that you can go to to unwind; somewhere you can relax. Soft blues and greens, as well as neutrals can help create a calming paint color. Whatever hue it is that takes you to your zen place, consider that paint color for your bedroom.

2. Consider who the room is for.

If the bedroom paint is for your children, you may want a less than calming color (unless they have a hard time getting into bed!). If the bedroom is also a playroom, you may want to ask their opinion on a paint color; and why not go for a wild red or playful blue? Let them decide!

3. Choose bedroom furniture and accessories first.

Make sure that the bedroom paint color either works with what furniture you have, or that you have bedroom furniture in mind that will go well with the color that you choose.

4. Use a virtual room painter to make sure you like the paint design.

There are many different computer applications and online virtual room painting programs that allow you to see what a room will look like with a certain color paint. Choose a room layout that looks similar to yours, and see if the bedroom paint still works for you once it's filling an entire room.
