The New Jersey Devils have passionate fans, both in the tri-state area and around the country. Any fan of the Devils would love to have an entire room in his home dedicated to his favorite hockey team. Here is decorate a room with a New Jersey Devils theme.
Instructions
1. Paint the room in the colors of the New Jersey Devils. Black and red are the two primary colors found on the uniforms of the Devils. You could paint the room just in red to “Rock the Red” or use both colors.
2. Place the logo of the New Jersey Devils somewhere in the room. The team logo is one of the most noticeable and intimidating in the NHL. You could paint the logo on a wall, hang a flag or banner with the logo on it or buy a large decal. Any of these could be found at your local team shop.
3. Fill the room with objects that commemorate the rivalry between the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils. This is one of the most intense rivalries in all of sports. Perhaps you could find pictures or newspaper clippings of a particularly important or meaningful victory the Devils achieved over the Rangers.
4. Hang a championship banner in the room commemorating the success enjoyed by the Devils throughout the years. The Devils have won numerous division championships and Stanley Cups. Make sure to leave room on this banner for when the Devils win another championship.
5. Dedicate a portion of the room to Scott Stevens. Stevens was captain of the Devils for 12 years during his illustrious career. He is also one of the most beloved players in the history of the franchise. Search for Scott Stevens jerseys, bobbleheads and other memorabilia at team shops and online and place them in the room.
6. Find pictures of the Stanley Cup champion teams and place them throughout the room. You could find a picture of the team posing with the Stanley Cup at center ice or a picture of the Devils at the White House after winning it all.
