If your photo's colors don't match your mood, Paint can change them.
MS Paint, the free utility that comes with Windows 7, allows you to perform basic image-editing tasks. The Windows 7 version, more advanced than the ones in older versions of Windows, has tools and controls that manipulate color in a variety of ways. For instance, if your image has a color you do not like, you can replace it quickly using Windows 7 Paint.
Instructions
1. Click the Windows 7 "Start" button, and click "Paint" to launch the program.
2. Press "Control" and "O" to display the "Open" window. This window contains your hard drive's files. Navigate to a file you wish to modify. Double-click that file to open it in the editing window.
3. Click the "Home" tab and locate the "Color Picker" tool. Click that tool to activate it.
4. Click the color that you wish to replace. That color appears in the "Color 1" box near the top of the editing window.
5. Click the "Color 2" box to highlight it, and then click "Edit Colors." A color selection window appears. Click the color that you wish to use as the replacement.
6. Locate the "Eraser" tool near the top of the user interface. Click that tool to highlight it.
7. Hold down your right mouse button, and move the cursor over the color that you wish to replace. As you move the mouse, the replacement color that you selected from the color window replaces the color that you do not want.
