Frightening Haunted Houses In Nj

There are many haunted attractions in New Jersey every Halloween.

Modern celebrations of Halloween can often be more fanciful than frightening, with many Halloween activities creating an emphasis on imagination and whimsy over fear. Nevertheless, for many people, it isn't Halloween without a good scare. Haunted house attractions have become more sophisticated, and they have expanded to haunted hotels, hayrides and mazes as well. New Jersey features several elaborate fright-fests every year, giving Halloween revelers a great deal of choice concerning spend their holiday.

Corner of Chaos: The Barbaric Barnyard

The Barbaric Barnyard features killers and monsters galore.

Corner of Chaos actually contains a set of three Halloween attractions, set into over 25 acres of land. You can choose access to the Devil's Den, a dark trail into the woods where the Jersey Devil is said to roam. You may opt for the Trail of Treachery, a haunted maze; or you may go to the Barbaric Barnyard, a haunted farmhouse and its accompanying barn.

Guests can choose to enter just the Barnyard or to buy a combo ticket, which will provide access to all three attractions. In the Barbaric Barnyard, you'll be menaced by axe-wielding serial killers, demons and monsters galore. Parents with young children are highly encouraged to skip the Barnyard and instead enter the less-intense Family Fun Maze.
