Awesome Interior Fresh paint Colors

Cool-toned paint looks lovely in most homes.

Painting the interior of your home is a quick and relatively easy way to give it a quick makeover. When you are choosing interior paint colors, consider the overall tones used in your home and whether they are warm or cool. Warm colors tend to be yellows, oranges and browns. Cooler tones are grays, purples and greens. It's best to stay within a color family if at all possible.

Blue

Shades of blue are all cool colors. Blue is popular for painting interiors because there are so many different colors of blue to use. Also, you can use all cool, blue colors in your house and use a different one in each room. For example, opt for a medium and vivid blue for your living room. Paint the trim white to make the blue stands out. Use powder blue in your bedroom. Punch up the kitchen with teal blue.

Lavender

Purple is a cool color that can provide style to your home. There are multiple shades that will work for your home. For a whimsical and cool look, try painting walls with lavender paint. This isn't an overwhelming color and looks great paired with other cool colors, such as gray and white, in your decor. If you are looking for a more powerful look, choose just one accent wall and paint it a bright purple color.

Green

Another popular, cool color that is often used in homes is the green. There are also multiple shades of green, from emerald green to a soft sage. This is another color that you can use throughout your home, depending on the room. A soft, barely-there mint green is perfect for your bedroom or a child's room. Sage green is a great base for living room decor.

White

An icy tone of white paint is the perfect way to bring cool tones into your home. People often forget that certain shades of white are the perfect cool color. Painting your home icy cool white will create an airy and whimsical interior. It's the perfect cool interior paint to use as it creates a palette in which you can use just about anything to decorate.
