Craft Festivals In Ohio

Craft shows give an opportunity for artisans to display their work.

People enjoy going to craft shows for many different reasons. Some are crafters themselves and like to display and sell their merchandise. Others like to network with other crafters and meet people with similar interests. Still others come to appreciate or purchase the art. Ohio has many different craft shows, each with a different focus, giving something for everybody.

Riverfront Art Festival

The Riverfront Art Festival is an annual arts and craft show in downtown Columbus, Ohio, that began in 2006. The Riverfront Art Festival offers free admission. It is a weekend event that features musical shows, along with more than 150 artists and craftsmen displaying and selling their wares. Some of the crafts displayed are oil paintings, pottery and textile art. The festival has featured wearable art by Anne Flora and such crafters as photographer Jim Copeland and metal worker Claudia Carreon.
