If you want your Sims to have a new and interesting career, they'll have plenty of choices in "The Sims 3: Ambitions." This expansion pack gives Sims access to jobs not available in the original game, including the ghost hunter, architect and firefighter careers. Additionally, the expansion pack now allows you to send your children to private school. Private school is expensive, but offers many benefits. If you want to send your children there, you must first get an invitation from the headmaster.
Instructions
1. Decorate your house with the most expensive items you can afford. Paintings, sculptures and electronics are ideal. Items that give a boost to Environment points are especially helpful. Virtually all works of art give an Environment point boost. You may also get the boost from nice furniture.
2. Raise your family's Charisma points as much as possible. This helps to charm the headmaster. Raise points by clicking on any mirror and then selecting "Practice Speech."
3. Clean up the house before the headmaster arrives. A dirty house virtually guarantees that the headmaster won't invite your children to private school. If you don't have the time to clean, call for the maid service.
4. Make the Sim with the highest cooking skill cook a meal. Expensive meals, like lobster and steak, impress the headmaster the most.
5. Click on the phone and select "Invite headmaster." Greet the headmaster when he arrives, and direct him to the table to eat the meal.
6. Guide the headmaster around your house after eating. If the headmaster applauds in a room, it means that he approves of it. With enough approval, you receive a message that your child is accepted into private school.
