Fresh paint Scratches On Silver

Silver can get scratched up over time.

Scratches on silver are most often found on cars. Silver is a color that is seen on many different makes and models of cars. Many car owners like to keep their vehicle looking brand new, and even the tinniest scratches can be a cause for concern. Instead of trying to buff out the scratch and repaint the car, there is a quick and easy alternative to get the scratches out of your silver car or any other type of silver you may have around the house.

Instructions

1. Brush the area where the silver is located with a small duster. Go over the entire surface to remove all dust. Get between the small scratches on the surface and clean them out with the duster.

2. Clean the surface of the silver. Wipe down the area where the scratches are located with a clean rag. Remove any dirt and debris from the area. Dampen the rag to scrub out any dirt, if necessary. Dry the surface with a clean rag.

3. Open up a Touch Up Paint Pen Silver Tone. Loosen the top and dip it into the silver coloring with the brush that is built into the lid. Spread out the silver color over all of the scratches. Brush it on in a smooth, even stroke.

4. Get into the crevices of the scratches. Do not just paint over top of them. Fill the entire area with the silver color, dipping the pen back into the ink when necessary. Move from one scratch to the next until they are all filled.

5. Add a second coat to match the coloring, if necessary, after the first coat has had one hour to dry.
