Get Vehicle Exterior Fresh paint Supplies

Contrary to popular belief, you do not have to be an expert painter in order to paint your own vehicle. You can do it yourself and save money by doing so. You will need the proper supplies to get the job done.

Instructions

1. Clean your car thoroughly using a quality car washing soap before painting it.

2. Remove dirt and debris from the car with wax and grease remover applied with paper towels.

3. Prepare your car by smoothing out any rough areas with sand paper. Use body putty to fill in dings.

4. Mask off the areas of the car you don't want painted. Use a good quality masking tape.

5. Rent or borrow an air compressor and paint gun if you don't own one.

6. Buy the primer, clear coat and paint color that you want. Have cups and stir sticks on hand to measure and pour paint according to package directions.

7. Gather the appropriate safety gear. You will need a respirator, cap for your head, safety goggles, coveralls and gloves.
