Fresh paint A Dallas Cowboys Room

Dubbed "America's Team", the Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable sports franchise in the United States according to Forbes Magazine. The Cowboys are one of the wealthiest teams in the NFL. The team generates upwards of 269 Million dollars in annual revenue and is one of the sport's most popular teams. Fans collect memorabilia and sometimes paint pictures dedicated to their favorite players, but what about painting an entire room in honor of the five-time Superbowl Champions? It takes a lot of creativity and hard work, but in the end there will be no denying who's the real fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Instructions

1. Decide on the colors you want to use for the Dallas Cowboys room. Their team colors are blue, royal blue, silver, white, and silver-green. The primary colors they are known for are the royal blue and silver. Silver would fit well as the base to paint the walls.

2. Assemble a mixture of warm water and mild detergent, usually one-half cup of water to every four cups water in a bucket and wash the walls down making sure they are clean. Let air dry for twenty minutes.

3. Utilize the painters tape to tape off areas like wood molding that need to be protected from paint splashes and drips.

4. Make sure you cut in each corner and sides with paint using a brush because the rollers will not be able to coat those parts of the walls very well.

5. Select a wall to start painting with the roller. Dip the roller in the paint tray and begin by rolling a W on the wall. This ensures that the paint will be distributed evenly on each section you paint. Finish each wall with the silver and let dry before deciding to paint another coat if needed. If you do need another coat, paint it the same way as the first coat.

6. Move the largest stencil to the wall to use as the centerpiece of the room, place it in the middle of the wall and tape it to the wall to see how it looks. Remove it and use an X-acto knife to cut a border on the inside of the star, this will be your stencil of the star that will go onto the wall.

7. Spray white indoor paint over the stencil in left to right sweeping motions to make the outside border of the Dallas Cowboys emblem. Let dry for the time that the manufacture states on the can. You can paint a star on each wall and use white and blue combinations, the choice is yours. Overlap a smaller star after the first star and spray it royal blue to match the Cowboys main color scheme.

8. Add Dallas Cowboy decals, pictures, and memorabilia to complete the transformation to your own Dallas Cowboys Room.
