"
Warhammer" is a fantasy war game developed by Games Workshop that uses figurines to represent each player's army. Games Workshop also develops a science fiction version called "Warhammer 40K." A large part of the "Warhammer" community paints their figurines to make each army more unique. Removing paint effectively from "Warhammer" figurines and "Warhammer 40K" figurines can be difficult. Harsher paint-stripping chemicals can destroy the plastic figurines. Simple Green: All Purpose Cleaner can effectively remove paint from the figurines without destroying them in the process.
Instructions
1. Place the "Warhammer" figurines from which you want to remove paint into plastic cups. A good rule of thumb is that each cup should have a maximum for four human-sized figurines in it.
2. Fill the plastic cups with Simple Green. All of the figurines in the cups should be completely submerged.
3. Wait at least 10 hours to allow the figurines to soak. You will be able to remove paint more effectively if you allow the figurines to soak for at least three days before proceeding. The paint will come off more easily the longer the figurines are allowed to soak.
4. Scrub the "Warhammer" figurines with a toothbrush under running water. The paint will flake off from the figurines.
5. Wash any remaining cleaner from the figurine. The paint should be completely removed from the "Warhammer" figurine. It is now ready to be repainted.
