There are small household sprayers to large commercial sprayers that you can choose from. Your choice will depend on what type of job you are planning to do and how often you will use the sprayer.

Types of Sprayers
1. Choose the Wagoner spray tech for small jobs. This sprayer holds 1 quart of paint at a time and is suitable for painting crafts, lawn furniture, household furniture and fences. It is not made to hold up to prolonged excessive use or large painting jobs.
2. Use a Paint Crew Plus if you want to maintain the painting on your own home. It is also a good choice for the painter that occasionally uses a paint sprayer to complete a job. The Paint Crew Plus is an airless sprayer that sprays a high volume of paint under high pressure. It holds 2 gallons of paint in its own compartment. This paint sprayer is not suitable for painting large projects on a prolonged basis. It is best if you do not use oil- or lacquer-based paint products in it even though the instructions say that you can. These products require a more detailed cleaning with harsh chemicals that will break down the sprayer much quicker than if you only use latex paint products.
3. Use a commercial airless paint sprayer if you paint on a daily basis. These sprayers are made to hold up to daily wear and tear. They are also capable of handling all types of paint products without breaking down the internal parts. The commercial paint sprayer does not require that you pour paint into the machine. It has a siphon hose located on the front that is placed into a 5 gallon bucket of paint. This makes it possible to paint large areas at a time before running out of paint.
4. Purchase the HVLP sprayer (high volume-low pressure) for painting cars, interior doors and trim, exterior doors or anywhere that you want a fine finish. This sprayer puts out a high volume of paint with no overspray and allows you to precisely control the amount of paint coming out of the sprayer. Unlike the airless sprayer, the HVLP uses an air compressor to push the paint through the gun. The HVLP is capable of spraying all paint products.
