Dressing up your toes with nail paint is a good idea if you plan to show your feet, whether it be to walk down the beach or don cute strappy shoes. You can add to the look of your toes a number of ways and one is to paint lines across toenails to add some funky geometric designs. Painting lines on toes is easy to do at home and can make for very stylish looking feet.
Instructions
1. Remove old nail paint on your toenails with acetone-free nail polish remover and cotton balls. Use cotton swabs to scrub paint off of the smaller toenails. Clip nails and wash your feet with soap and water then dry them with a towel.
2. Paint on a layer of clear nail polish and let it dry for three minutes. Paint on the main color you want for toes and let it dry for 10 minutes. Skip the colored nail polish if you want to paint the lines on neutral toenails.
3. Dip one end of a toothpick into the nail paint of your choice for the line design. Use the toothpick as a pencil and draw your line on the nail. Dip the toothpick as needed to collect more paint. Draw one even line or do multiple lines and let them dry for 10 minutes.
4. Paint on a layer of clear nail polish to seal your design and preserve your work. Let the polish dry for 10 more minutes before putting on your shoes or walking around.
