Invest in an advertising campaign by targeting your audience (such as by advertising in home improvement publications) and your local market (by focusing on your local newspaper and television stations).
4. Create a website and use an Internet ad service. The modern era has heralded the Internet as the new public forum. Take advantage by creating a website that highlights the pros of your business. Increase traffic on your website by investing in an Internet ad service, such as GoogleAdWords or AdReady.com.
5. Post a sign indicating that your company renovated homes after projects are complete. Once you complete a home improvement project, stick a sign in the person's front yard to indicate that your company did the work. People driving by and friends or neighbors of your client may feel intrigued and call you.
