Change the background color in Paint Shop Pro X2.
Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 is a photo editing and graphics manipulation program that allows you to make a wide variety of changes to photos and images. The background color of your photo can determine the mood and message of the photo, and trying a few colors out allows you to find the perfect match. Changing the background color of an image in Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 is accomplished by adjusting a few of the imaging options.
Instructions
1. Open your photo in Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 and choose the color replacer tool on the tool palette. The tool palette is the grey box with tool buttons on the left side of the screen. Each button in the tool palette corresponds to a different tool; hold your mouse over the buttons to see the tool names. The color replacer tool has two circles on its button, one blue and one green, with an arrow pointing from the blue circle to the green circle.
2. Choose the color you are trying to replace. To change the background color, click on the background color of the image with your mouse. Once you click on the background color, click on the color that you would like to replace it with. To do this, select a color from your image or from the color palette on the right side of your screen.
3. Modify the value in the tolerance edit box. This box is located in the middle of the top menu. Make the value 200, as this is the maximum, to boldly replace all pixels of the original color. To create a blending effect, set the value to 100 or lower.
