Make a flyer to rent a house.
If you want to rent a house and prefer not to go through a rental agency to rent your property you can rent it yourself. Create a flyer for your house and place copies at stores, other locations and in front of the property, so potential renters can see the specifics. Creating a flyer to rent a house isn't a difficult project to undertake. Even if you want to place photos on your flyer, you can accomplish your goal by using a basic program like Paint that comes with Microsoft Windows.
Instructions
1. Create a list of all the information you need to include on your flyer. This should typically be the price of the rental, the type of rental that it is, along with contact details for you. You might also want to include what type of expectations you have for a renter and the requirements you have for someone's application to be successful.
2. Brainstorm your ideas on paper. Select any photos you may want to use in your flyer. If you need to have the images taken, make sure to takes both inside and outside photos of the property.
3. Open Paint by going to "Start" then select "All Programs." Next scroll to "Accessories" and then select "Paint." You can change the size of your flyer by selecting "Image" and clicking "Attributes." In the dialog box change the width and height to match your requirements. If you want to print your images on standard flyer-size paper (8.5 x 11 inches), you should adjust the width and height of your document appropriately.
4. Create your design using the tools available in the program. Use the "A" tool to add your text content to your flyer. If you want to add photos you will first need to open them in Windows Movie Gallery. You can add your flyer information such as pricing the house, adding the deposit requirement and so forth by placing this information in a box.
5. Save your final flyer design as a high resolution JPEG. You can either have your flyer printed professionally or you can print it yourself. If you intend to have it printed by a professional printing service, remember to ask about bulk printing rates.
