Paint With Silver Interior Wall Paint

Silver interior wall paints leaves a glossy finish on walls. The color is a design statement that must be administered carefully to achieve the desired effect. Proper wall priming will prepare the walls for the paint. The type of paint used will help ensure an even coating. The materials selected to apply the paint will make it easier to apply this type of paint. Even with all the precautions, it may take several coats of paint to ensure a uniform look for the room.

Instructions

1. Remove all furniture from the room being painted.

2. Cover all surfaces remaining in the room with plastic sheets. Tape down all edges of the sheets.

3. Put on goggles and gloves for protection. Fill the spray gun with the primer.

4. Hold the tip of the spray gun 12 inches from the wall, keeping the gun at a 90-degree angle from your body. Move the arm holding the gun across your body and press the trigger. Release the trigger before the arm's motion is complete. Overlap each pass by an inch to avoid sags in the primer application. Cover the entire area to be painted with an even coating of the primer.

5. Remove the tip of the spray gun. Soak the tip in the solvent. Rinse the paint cup of the gun with the solvent. Rinse the solvent through the gun until the solvent runs clear. Allow all equipment and the walls to dry completely.
