Recolor "Sim cards 2" Works of art

If you'd like to add custom paintings to your Sim's house in "Sims 2," you'll need to re-color an existing painting with "SimPE" and "Paintshop Pro." Custom paintings make a nice touch to a house in "Sims 2," a life-simulation computer game first released in 2004 for Windows and in 2005 for Macintosh. Re-coloring a painting in the game will take a little work, but you can pull it off by following a few steps.

Instructions

1. Download the picture you want to turn into a painting.

2. Open "Paintshop Pro" and load the file. If you don't have Paintshop, you can download a trial version from the Corel website.

3. Select your image. Click "Image," and then "Add Borders."

4. Choose a color for the border of your image.

5. Set the borders to however many pixels you want. Check the "Symmetric" box to ensure the borders wrap around the whole painting evenly.

6. Open "SimPE." Click on "Tools," then "Object Creation" and "Photo Studio." Click on "Open" and choose the artwork. Choose the painting you want to recolor next to the "Picture Base" heading. Uncheck the "Flip Image" box.

7. Check the "Preview" box. If you're happy with it, click "Create." Name the file and click "Save." The painting should now show up in the game.
